I'm Grant G. Gorchynski. I've always been passionate about community progress.  Throughout the years, I have advocated or funded projects on behalf of seniors, youth, women, people with disabilities, families, and the common person. I spearheaded a campaign called “Kingsbridge Matters” to urge transit planning committees to provide a stop at Kingsbridge.

Currently, I am a board member of I Can We Can, a member of Rotary Mississauga. I work with women’s organizations, such as Avanti Women, an organization led by the Coalition of People With Disabilities.

“Grant Gorchynski is amazing: totally committed to our neighbourhood and a boundless source of energy. His advocacy for a Kingsbridge LRT stop has been nothing short of inspiring. He’s a rare combination of civic commitment, business savvy, tenacity, and the ability to actually get things done — precisely what we need on city council.”

Grant is smart, caring, and passionate. Even though Grant lives in Ward 4 of Mississauga, I have witnessed his relentless determination and passion for all people because of knowing his family and the role if his grandmother, Martha Zenker, over the last 3 generations in creating the Oakville today, ranked Canada's #1 most livable town. Grant’s roots of course are in Mississauga. He definitely shares the same passionate “Community-First” mentality we value here. Mississauga will be in wonderful hands with Grant Gorchynski as Ward 4 City Councillor.

Since I have devoted my life to social Services, be it for the Youth, Food Bank, Refugees or Families in need, I feel as a society we must give back. That’s why I support, Grant G. Gorchynski. He is someone who has taken the plight of the “ignored” and “Forgotten by ‘the system’. Grant’s advocacy work as the founder of The Kingsbridge Matters or supporting Youth Programs and Seniors Clubs in Ward 4 makes him my favorite. Most importantly a councilor must be ready from the very 1st day! Grant’s business acumen and educational background uniquely qualifies him to take charge from the first day at The City Hall
